Violent crime touches far too many families in this community and once a year, a week is set aside to acknowledge the rights of victims and to mark the progress being made in America to advance those rights.
U.S. Attorney Jim Letten and Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro spoke with Eric Paulsen about victim’s rights.
Coming up on Thursday, the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a special event for family members of those who’ve lost a loved one to violence in New Orleans. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to 819 South Broad Street.
