KENNER, La. -- A Kenner man suspected of being under the influence has been booked in a traffic crash that sent a pedestrian to the hospital.
Henry Hutchinson, 55, was arrested on Friday after Kenner police say he lost control of his vehicle, struck a stop sign, hit two other vehicles and pinned a pedestrian between a fence and a vehicle.
Hutchinson was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless operation, hit and run, driving without a license and without car insurance, among other things.
Hutchinson's bond was set at $7,800.
He had just been released from jail earlier Monday due to overcrowding.
