MARRERO, La. -- Louisiana State Police have found both of the two missing K-9 dogs at animal shelters Tuesday night.
Trooper Melissa Matey, a spokesman for Louisiana State Police, said earlier in the evening that the two dogs -- Luke and Bruno -- went missing in the Bent Tree area of Marrero.
Less than an hour after notifying the media, Bruno was found at a PAWS shelter in Belle Chasse, and Luke at an SPCA shelter near the Bent Tree area.
Matey didn't release information on whether the dogs escaped or if they were stolen. They say they're launching an investigation into how they went missing.
