A wave a deep tropical moisture will stream up from the Gulf of Mexico over Louisiana. This will spread scattered showers and storms over us. Some heavy rain and gusty winds will be possible with any storm. High temperatures will climb to around 90 before the rain moves in, and then we will stay in the 80s the rest of the afternoon/evening.
Clouds will stick around tonight along with a 40% chance for scattered showers. Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.
Saturday looks to be a very soggy day with a 70% chance for scattered showers and storms. Heavy rain is likely with any storm along with some gusty winds. Watch out for some minor flooding too. Highs will only make it into the upper 80s thanks to the clouds and rain.
I'm not expecting as much rain on Sunday and Monday. It will be hot and humid with partly cloudy skies and a 30% chance for storms. Highs will be in the lower 90s and lows in the mid to upper 70s each day.
