Today will be sunny, mild, and quite pleasant. Expect highs near 75. Tonight will be chilly again, with lows in the 40s and 50s. Rain stays away for the weekend, but moves in Sunday night and Monday. Monday will be very wet, as a low moves into Louisiana.
Ida is a depression over Honduras this morning. Heavy rains and mud slides will be a big threat in Central America. This storm will emerge into the W. Caribbean this weekend, and then head into the Gulf next week. Models keep Ida east of us, as a weak tropical storm next week. Florida will be the most likely target for whatever is left of Ida.
