Isolated showers and storms return today

It is a muggier start to this Friday, and more humid weather will continue to come back to New Orleans throughout the day as an area of low pressure moves closer to our from the west.  This low will set off isolated showers and storms across Southeast Louisiana today.  Highs will be around 90. 

A few showers will linger over the area tonight with mostly cloudy skies.  It will be muggy with lows in the lower to mid 70s.

The weekend is shaping up to be a little soggy.  As the area of low pressure moves across Southeast Louisiana it will set off scattered showers and storms.  Some heavy rain is likely with some minor flooding possible.  Highs will be around 90 each day with lows in the 70s.
