Get ready for a LOT of heat and humidity this weekend. Temperatures will soar into the middle and upper 90s each afternoon... that means a few spots will get close to record high temperatures.  Feel like temperatures will be 100-110°.

The big high pressure system over us keeps rain chances slim today and Sunday. A few isolated showers or thunderstorms will be possible.  With the intense heat, any thunderstorm that does develop could become strong with lots of lightning and heavy rain.

Evening temperatures will be rather steamy, falling from the 90s into the 80s. Overnight lows will be close to 80° in most areas.

By next week, the upper high will shift and we will have daily rain chances.
