As Ida continues to move to the north through the Yucatan Channel, our clouds will slowly increase, but we'll remain rain-free overnight.  On Sunday, expect just a shower or two along with increasing winds, as the Gulf of Mexico begins to open up.  The worst of the weather should hold off until Sunday night.

A Coastal Flood Watch remains in effect until Tuesday.  Winds will start to increase Sunday and remain up through the middle of next week due to high pressure over the Mid-Atlantic and low pressure in the Gulf.  Tides will be much higher than normal causing some flooding, especially across eastern-facing shorelines of St. Bernard, Plaquemines, and the Mississippi Counties.
