The cold front will move through town Thursday evening. It will bring spotty showers and thunderstorms - mainly on the Northshore. Some of the storms could be strong with gusty winds. SPC has put South Mississippi in a Marginal Risk for severe weather.
The front should clear the area by midnight, and then we will see an end to any rain or storms. The clouds will gradually clear out overnight. It will turn windy and much cooler by morning with lows in the upper 50s north and upper 60s south.
An area of high pressure will build in behind the cold front on Friday with sunny skies. It will be breezy and MUCH COOLER with highs only in the mid 70s.
