WWLTV PinPoint Forecast Team

We are watching a tropical wave out in the Atlantic Ocean that has been named Invest 96L.  It is not very organized at this time.  However, there is a medium chance for some development in the next 2-3 days.  It is still west of the Caribbean Sea and is moving west at 14mph.  Invest 96 is not an organized system so computer models don't have a real center to grab onto, so do not rely to heavily in the forecast of this disturbance just yet. Models do take whatever it becomes into the Caribbean so we will be watching it very closely.

There is another tropical wave behind Invest 96L halfway between Africa and South America, and it is poorly organized.  This one has a low chance for development at this time.

Elsewhere...the rest of the tropics are quiet.
