On Saturday, 6/11/11, there was a thunderstorm moving over St. Rose, LA. At around 9:49 pm a bolt of lightning hit a tree in my front yard. Had to be one of the most terrifying experiences of me life. The sound was undescribable! I played back my surveillance cameras and was lucky enough to get this footage. Although the damage to the tree was minimal I did suffer some damage to several electronic devices in the house. This has definitely given me new respect for the power of lightning!
