Horace "Pip" Bernard waited 7 years for me. See he and my mother "picked" me I was adopted at seven months old from St. Vincent's on Magazine Street in New Orleans. He wanted a baby girl and the day they called him to come see me he and my mother knew I had to be their's. I couldn't have DREAMED of having a more loving, caring and devoted father. He was, is, and always be "My Daddy". I miss him as much today as the night he left me to go to a better place with God 10 years ago come July.
