Longtime resident of Barataria, Florence Alexie, age 77, says it never fails. This is the fifth time her house has flooded from either a tropical storm to a hurricane, or just a hard south wind. Even with her son living next door, there is only so much you can do to prepare and prevent. It's amazing how much your life can change in just 6 hours.
