Cocoa is 8 years old. She was 14 months old when I adopted her. After I got her, I brought her to our local veterinarian to be spayed. I was at work & received a telephone call that she could NOT be spayed. Of course, I asked why not. I was told that she had Stage IV heartworms. Long story, short, she was young & otherwise healthy...went through the procedure & has been heartworm free ever since. She's sweet, smart, and a "little" spoiled. She's definitely a "Daddy's girl" & the best dog we've ever had. That's why we have this saying..."Everyone ♥s Cocoa" : )
