I have two rabbits who were housed in an outdoor rabbit hutch. Last night, the hutch was attacked....clawed and wood ripped off of it. Whatever animal is was that attacked it was strong enough to move the hutch to try to get to the rabbits. We discovered the beat up hutch this morning....and no rabbits. We found both rabbits, hiding. One of them was under my shed. On both sides of the shed there were big holes dug from whatever animal it was that tried to get the rabbit. After finally being able to catch both rabbits, we realized they were both injured/attacked. They are currently staying overnight at the West Esplanade Veterinary Hospital. I know coyotes have been spotted in my area (I live near Northshore High School...not far from Honey Island Swamp) but after watching tonight's broadcast, I'm wondering if it could have been an attack by a bobcat....
