My mother raised my sisters and myself to be very respectful of ourselves and others. God always comes first no matter what! My mother has been my best friend my entire life. She has brought me through so many ups and downs. She has always been there for me when nobody else would even look my way. She lifts me up, inspires me, makes me smile and gives me more love than I feel I deserve at times. My mother is a God fearing woman who will spend her every waking hour praying for any and everyone, be they friend or foe. The photo I chose was taken at the Aquarium in NOLA. Just watching her that day with the parakeets was so amazing. That was a very good day! I love my mother! She is the wind beneath my wings!!! I thank God for giving me the best mom in the world!
