I would like to give honor to my mother, Gesielle Roussel, who is and have been “The Hardest Working Mother in New Orleans”. She’s my hero, a single mother for the past 20 years, whose been working 2 full-time jobs for the last 18 years. My mothers first 8 hours is dedicated to the New Orleans Police Department as an Assistant Police Platoon Commander/Training Coordinator for the 911 emergency center and her second 8 hour she works at a transitional facility for the mentally ill. With a plate this full, mother and I, still spend quality time together. Mother, I honor and adore you for what you have and still doing for me. Everyday is Mother’s Day for my MOM.
