The Myasthenia Gravis New Orleans Resource Group reached its fundraising goal of $25,000 for its first ever MG Walk and Fundraiser, held April 21 in downtown New Orleans. All proceeds went to research and to find a cure for the neuromuscular disease, Myasthenia Gravis. The New Orleans group became the first city out of the 20 MG Walks nationwide to reach its fundraising goal. The walk's main sponsors included Cadillac of Metairie, WWL-TV and Adams and Reese.
