My mom, Dian Morris Johnson or Lady Love (as I call her), epitomizes all that a mother should be! She was my first teacher! It is from her modeling that I learned to love, care, and share. From her I learned to treat others as I wished to be treated, act as a lady should, set and attain golas, and to always be the absolute best I could be in all that I did! I'm still learning from her. One of the most impactful lessons I've learned of late is what it means to be committed to commitment and to love and honor your husband until death parts. As my late dad recovered from a surgery, I observed her go each and averyday, after she got off work, to visit with him, bring him dinner, laugh and talk, and even wash his feet if that's what he wanted. No matter how exhausted she was, she always went to see my dad, her husband. When he passed unexpectedly, it hurt us all, but of the things that eased the pain was knowing that he knew he was loved by us, but especially by the woman who he married...my mom.
