My dad recently passed away on March 6th. He was the former Superintendent of Lafourche Parish Schools, Eddie Blanchard. This will be an extremely hard Mother's day without him present. I want to honor my mom for her hard work and dedication she has given to all of her 6 children, 13 grandchildren, and 6 step grandchildren. With her unconditional love, hard work, and strength-we will all learn to move on without our dad's presence. Happy Mother's Day mom!
