So, we all love the dolphin that lives in our back yards, but he has created a few problems. We chose to live on the water because we love to fish, swim, water ski, etc. Now we cannot because of this dolphin, who has been here since Hurricane Katrina. He eats all (or most of) the trout, so fishing in this canal is now pretty much dead, and lately he has been getting aggressive or (most probably) amorously frisky with people getting too close to him. He has bitten a few swimmers too. Fish & Wildlife has told us that they cannot and will not remove the dolphin for fear that removing him will harm him, but, I fear, that it is only a matter of time before someone harms him here (God forbid). Surely there is a solution to this problem...and a happy ending for our dolphin friend.
