Santa arrived in the early morning hours on December 22nd at the Des Allemands Volunteer Fire Department Station 72 on Highway 90. Santa asked members of the Volunteer Department to help Santa, Mrs. Claus & Their Elf visit the Children in the area. So the Volunteers decided to give the reindeer a break and helped Santa and his crew visit the residents of Des Allemands. After they had made their way through all the streets Santa and his crew took a rest at the Fire Station. Some children came to the fire station to see Santa & Mrs. Claus. While Jordan Loupe was there he asked Santa if he could be his helper. Santa gave Jordan a Santa suit and allowed Jordan to look over his good list. Santa promised to visit the residents every year the Saturday before his big event.
