So today in Cocodrie, La I saw a circumzenithal arc. The pictures do it no justice as all I had was a cell phone camera. It was quite amazing. I couldn't get the entire thing in view but I counted 7 total rainbows. Backwards rainbows, upside down rainbows, circle rainbows and dot rainbows. I really did not get a picture of the whole thing but it may have been a keen arc. It was certainly lots of circles of rainbows. It was like a large pryzm in the sky! Tonight there was a 22 degree halo around the moon. Really neat!
