We pack pack in the Big Sandy area of the Wind River Range. This picture is from near the summit of Mitchell Peak. It is a very rugged open area full of 12,000 ft granite peaks. It is a completely primitive area where you carry into country everything you need to survive for the stay generally a week. All the pictures were taken by my sons Jean-Paul and Jonathan Martin after a 3 hour scramble to the peak
