While having a birthday party at the Fontainebleau State Park cabins in Mandeville on Friday, June 11th, we spotted two waterspouts and went outside to get a closer look. At one point we saw as many as four waterspouts which were parallel to the Causeway Bridge moving to the north. The sky was black, and there was one perfect rope-shaped waterspout with several smaller black, funnel-shaped waterspouts that would drop down and then pull back up. The wind was strong, and the lake was ferocious; however, we all remained safe and had a very interesting birthday party topic!
