I adopted a long haired JRT about a year and a half ago. I named her Mitzi. She was my best friend and went everywhere with me, especially to the doggie park at the end of Bonnabel. On June 4, 2010, Mitzi was hit by a car on West. Esplanade Avenue. My mother had just arrived in New Orleans from Ohio for our famiy reunion which was being held on Sunday, June 6th. I was at Wal-mart, while I left my mom at my house. A friend had come to my door and when my mother answered the door, Mitzi ran out of the house. I don't blame my Mom for the lose, but I was devasted and cried everyday for two weeks. I found therapy in looking at the website Petfinders.com and found these adorable pups. I was only planning on adopting one and naming her Angel, in memory of Mitzie. But as you can see, I adopted all three. Lucky Me! They are JRT/Cocker Spaniel mix.
