NEW ORLEANS — Brooke Kirchhoffer is excited to call New Orleans home after traveling to the city frequently to cover the Saints.
Brooke joins WWL-TV after spending two years as a sports reporter and anchor in Baton Rouge. While there, she covered the Saints, LSU, Southern and high school sports, so she's ready to hit the ground running in New Orleans.
Brooke graduated from Lamar University May of 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Science, degree in communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting.
After graduation, Brooke had her first job as a reporter/anchor at WLTZ in Columbus, Georgia, where she covered a lot of SEC sports, including Auburn University, University of Alabama and University of Georgia.
Brooke developed a love for sports at a young age, thanks to her Dad who is a member of the PGA. She's played sports since she was 4-years-old, including four years of soccer in college.
When she's not covering Louisiana sports, Brooke loves spending time with her family and friends. She's exploring New Orleans every chance she gets and can't wait to dive into the culture — especially the food.
