Kevin Dupuy Jr. is an award-winning Digital Journalist at WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana, specializing in general assignment reporting, social media and digital design.
Since joining the Eyewitness News Team in 2017, his work has received awards from Louisiana and Mississippi AP Broadcasters and Media Editors and the Press Club of New Orleans. In July 2018, Dupuy’s work on WWL-TV’s Down the Drain investigation was awarded First Place Digital Section 2018 from the Press Club of New Orleans.
Dupuy previously served as the Senior Digital Content Producer at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge. During his time at WBRZ, Dupuy coordinated digital coverage for several breaking national stories including the Alton Sterling protests, Baton Rouge Police ambush and the August 2016 flooding.
Dupuy is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he majored in Mass Communications with a minor in Political Science. While at LSU, Dupuy worked for and led digital teams for several of the university’s student media publications including Tiger TV, The Daily Reveille and LSUnow.
Dupuy is a graduate of Slidell High School.
