Kevin Dupuy Jr. is a national award-winning Digital Content Producer at WWL-TV in New Orleans, specializing in general assignment reporting, social media, and digital design.

Since joining the Eyewitness News Team in 2017, his work has earned awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association, Louisiana and Mississippi AP Broadcasters and Media Editors, and the Press Club of New Orleans. 

In 2021, Kevin and the WWLTV.com team were awarded the National Edward R. Murrow Award for 'Best Digital Coverage' across all large market television stations. Kevin's innovative COVID-19 tracker kept pace with Louisiana's coronavirus cases and vaccinations, a key feature in WWL-TV's award submission.

Kevin's breaking news coverage includes Hurricane Ida, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hard Rock hotel collapse, historic flooding, and the social justice protests. 

Kevin previously served as the Senior Digital Content Producer at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge, La.

Kevin is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he studied mass communication, journalism, political science, and business administration. While at LSU, Kevin led digital teams for several of the university's student media publications including Tiger TV, The Daily Reveille, and LSUnow.com.

Kevin is a graduate of Slidell High School.
