Sam Winstrom is a Digital Journalist at WWL-TV in New Orleans, specializing in photos and video.
Sam graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2013 before starting his journalism career in New Orleans. He's won multiple awards for use of social media during breaking news as well as awards for best multi-media story and for his role in WWL-TV's Down the Drain investigation.
Sam is an avid cook who loves experimenting in the kitchen and always makes sure to “accidentally” drop a little bit for his dog, Turbo.
