Jefferson Parish deputy shot; manhunt underway for suspect

A manhunt continues after a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputy was shot while responding to a disturbance call Sunday night.

A manhunt was underway for the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Tyronne Louis.

"We hope we can locate him tonight, before anyone else gets hurt," said Lopinto, who asked anyone who knows Louis to give police or Crimestoppers a call. (Read more)


Forecast: Saints can win when they're less than perfect and that's a big deal
