Great Day Louisiana show host and senior producer Jacqueline Mazur is delighted to join the WWL-TV team!

Jacqueline loves everything about New Orleans (except the potholes), so joining the WWL-TV family to create a new show about Louisiana’s culture, places and people, was a great way to share her enthusiasm with her viewers.

She has an extensive broadcast background having held various anchor and reporting positions across the nation and now calls Uptown home.

Jacqueline earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and double minored in the Spanish and Arabic languages. The major influence on her career was Walter Cronkite himself. She feels blessed to have interreacted with Mr. Cronkite numerous times during her school years.

Jacqueline enjoys outdoor activities but is also a film and literature buff. She loves to travel to gain a better understanding of the world around her, most recently exploring the Mayan ruins at Tikal in Guatemala.
