NEW ORLEANS — The Lenten Season in southeast Louisiana means it's time for Friday Fish Fries.
The New Orleans Archdiocese published a list of Catholic churches that are getting ready to fry fish during Fridays in Lent, allowing Catholics and others to abstain from eating meat and giving them an opportunity to support local Catholic churches in the area. Other organizations are also hosting events for the community.
