'I know justice will be served': Mother of son, 4-year-old granddaughter killed

"Justice will be served. Believe me."

LAPLACE, La. -- No parent ever wants to be in Angela Walker’s shoes.

Tuesday night, someone killed her son, Cameron Mack, and her 4-year-old granddaughter, Cali.

“I miss them already,” Walker said. “The most important thing in this world to him was his wife and his children. His girls was his everything.”

Cameron and his wife had two children, a 5-year-old and 4-year-old Cali.“They loved their daddy,” Walker said. “They loved their daddy. And their daddy loved them. He had mad love for those kids. I ain't never saw a man love his children like my son loved those girls.”

But her son is gone. Along with little Cali, who was just starting her life.

“She was a jolly, happy little girl. She was always Nana, I love you, much. She loved, she loved, she was a good child,” she said.

Now, it’s up to the St. John the Baptist Sheriff’s Office to find the killer.

“I just hope and pray that the community help us, I hope God leads us to the suspect,” she said. “I know Justice will be served. The sheriff office may not serve it. But you know who will. The most high. Justice will be served. Believe me.”
