NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Police Department has identified a person of interest in a murder inside a New Orleans East barbershop.
Police released the photo of 31-year-old Tyson Williams, who they believe may have information about the shooting. It happened Dec. 31, 2015 inside of a shop in the 9700 block of Lake Forest Blvd. Police said when they arrived they found 34-year-old Michael Cavanaugh lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the chest. Cavanaugh was brought to the hospital, where he later died.
NOPD said Williams is not a suspect at this time, however detectives do want to speak to him.
