MINDEN, La. (AP) — Louisiana authorities are investigating the shooting death of a pregnant woman at an apartment complex in Minden.
KSLA-TV reports Police Chief Steven Cropper says 19-year-old NaToyedre Barrow was found dead Wednesday morning. Her body was found on the apartment's couch. She was eight months pregnant.
Officials say the unborn child also died in the incident.
Police say at least six shots were fired from outside the building. Investigators say they don't believe Barrow was a target, but was at the wrong place at the wrong time.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are interviewing witnesses in an attempt to identify suspects.
