SLIDELL, La. — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office said they arrested four suspects after a January 28 shooting left a Slidell man with life-threatening injuries, according to a press release.

Slidell Police Department was investigating the shooting but turned it over to STPSO after they determined the shooting happened outside city limits.

The press release said that STPSO detectives identified the shooter as 18-year-old Robby Ray of Slidell, but they also discovered that multiple people assisted in the removal of evidence from the crime scene seemingly in an attempt to conceal evidence.

Ray was arrested and booked on charges of possession of a dangerous controlled substance with intent to distribute, illegal carrying of weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempted 2nd-degree murder, and obstruction of justice.

Courtney Sessions, Courtney Ray, and Yantrel Tyner were also arrested on various charges including possession with intent to distribute a dangerous controlled substance, obstruction of justice and illegal carrying of weapons.

STPSO said in the press release that the investigation is still ongoing and that more arrests and charges are possible.
