Teens arrested in connection with 28 vehicle burglaries Uptown

Both offenders are currently being held in the Orleans Parish Juvenile Detention Center and will be charged accordingly.

NEW ORLEANS — Two teens - ages 16 and 17 - have been arrested in connection with 28 vehicle burglaries in two neighborhoods in the Second District, the NOPD announced Friday.

The two offenders reportedly smashed the windows of several vehicles parked along Constance and Dufossat Streets in the Audobon/Hurstville neighborhoods of the Second District.  In addition, the offenders allegedly used a stolen Audi SUV to perpetrate their crimes.  

Both offenders are currently being held in the Orleans Parish Juvenile Detention Center and will be charged accordingly.
