NEW ORLEANS — A woman was shot and killed in New Orleans East Wednesday night.
NOPD reports that a woman was killed and a second, male victim, was wounded in a shooting in the 4700 block of Viola Street.
On Friday, Orleans Parish Coroner Jason Melancon identified the deceased victim as 28-year-old Tyschelle Ridgeley.
The male victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, but there is no word on his condition.
