NEW ORLEANS — A 5-year-old child was shot at a motel in the Baton Rouge area Friday, WBRZ reported.
Reports said the shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Super 8 Motel near the intersection of Interstate Highway 10 and Siegen Lane, in the 10400 block of Reiger Road.
WBRZ said authorities reported the victim was a 5-year-old child, but the child's condition was not clear.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office told WBRZ they're responding to the shooting but gave no other details.
