BATON ROUGE - Wounded Baton Rouge Deputy Nick Tullier successfully made the transition to a rehabilitation hospital in Houston Texas Wednesday to begin the next phase of his recovery.
According to our partners at WBRZ, authorities escorted an ambulance carrying Tullier to the airport Wednesday morning after hospital staff said their goodbyes to Tullier and his family.
The move to Texas is welcomed good news for the Tullier family who told WBRZ previously, Tullier would be transferred to TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston when his condition was stable enough for such a move across the coast.
