After entering the second quarter down 12-0, the No.1 seed Edna Karr Cougars came back to defeat No.2 Warren Easton 28-20 in the 2018 Allstate Sugar Bowl LHSAA Class 4A state championship game.
Karr, who remain undefeated on the season at 14-0, turned things around early in the second quarter and entered halftime with a 14-12 lead, The Advocate reports.
The game remained neck-and-neck in the fourth quarter, 21-20, until the Cougars scored on a 31-yard fourth down pass to seal things and retain the 4A crown for a third consecutive year.
