WAGGAMAN, La. — WAGGAMAN – The Live Oak Fire Department is responding to a boating accident on the Mississippi River, according to the Jefferson Parish Fire Department.
Three people were injured when a boat hit a barge at mile marker 112 which is near 9600 River Road, near Cargill International.
The Coast Guard is responding to the accident and emergency responders are headed to the scene for the patients.
