Mardi Gras in the Marigny

WWLTV's Paul Dudley and Devin Bartolotta celebrated with Mardi Gras goers in the Marigny area in New Orleans.

NEW ORLEANS — Thousands of people flooded the streets of New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras 2020, and WWLTV reporters Paul Dudley and Devin Bartolotta were no different.

Paul and Devin found time to enjoy the festivities as the covered the Fat Tuesday from the Marigny neighborhood in New Orleans, an area known in the city for its celebration of Mardi Gras.

Photojournalist Derek Waldrip was in the Marigny with Paul and Devin, so he put together a short video that shows how great Mardi Gras is in that area. The video shows the pair enjoying their time reporting live; it also features some of the interesting people they met during the festivities.
