NEW ORLEANS — Another car was pulled from a New Orleans drainage canal.
The Sewerage & Water Board said crews pulled the abandoned car out of the Algiers Canal that runs under Tullis Drive the week before Mardi Gras.
There was no information on how long the car may have been there.
Officials said Councilwoman Kristin Palmer reported the vehicle to the S&WB.
A car was pulled from the Lafitte Canal in August of 2019. That car was reported lost back in 2005, the day Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.
