Four people were wounded in in a shooting spree that started outside a St. Rose restaurant and carried over into a nearby neighborhood.
According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, several people were in front of the Howling Pepper on Turtle Creek Lane when shots were fired. Three people were wounded.
Then, moments later, one person was shot in the 100 block of St. Rose Avenue, less than a mile away. Police say the two shootings are connected.
According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, both shootings happened less than a mile apart around 6 p.m.
Of the four victims, three are being treated at UMC, one is being treated at Ochsner in Kenner. One is in critical condition.
Police did not identify the victims, but said that one is under the age of 17 and two of the victims are father and son.
Police said they are speaking with a suspect, but have not arrested him.
