LAPLACE - The St. John the Baptist Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the public in identifying a man they say robbed a convenience store on Belle Terre Blvd. early Monday morning.
On the video you can see a man wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt looking like he was about to purchase a bottle of soda and some lottery tickets when he pulls out a revolver.
The gunman shoos away another customer before collecting some money from the cashier and fleeing.
The incident happened around 4:45 a.m.
The sheriff's office also released a video of a man they believe is the suspect. The image, taken at another time, shows a man wearing a white t-shirt at a register.
