UPDATE: The child's guardians have been located and are currently at NOPD headquarters giving statements, according to police.
The child is in good health with a caregiver.

NEW ORLEANS -- Police are looking for the parents of a girl found in Algiers Thursday afternoon.
A tweet from the New Orleans Police Department said officers found the girl in the 3700 block of General DeGaulle Drive shortly before 5 p.m. However, police have been unable to locate her parents.
