NEW ORLEANS — For the first time in NFL history, a judgement call made by referees, pass interference, will be reviewable.
The massive rule change, and several others, were passed on Tuesday at the NFL's owners' meeting in Phoenix, Ariz.
The sweeping decision to make both defensive and offensive pass interference challengable and reviewable was a direct response to the blown call in the NFC championship game in New Orleans that cost the Saints a chance at Super Bowl LIII.
