Chris Franklin - WWL-TV Meteorologist

Hot with only about a 20% chance for a few showers and storms today. An upper ridge will keep most the area relatively dry and hot with temps around normal in the upper 80s to low 90s. Rain chances look to increase tomorrow thanks to an upper disturbance to our north. This feature should help draw some of the moisture currently over Texas and SW LA. Rain chances should climb to around 40%. The upper low quickly pushes farther east and the ridge will build back in westward. This will keep Friday and the weekend hot and mostly dry.
