*FREEZE WARNING for Wednesday Night/Thursday Morning for all areas north of the lake, west of the lake, and for Upper Lafourche, and Upper Terrebonne parishes. Temperatures will drop to upper 20s to low 30s so protect plants, pets, and people.

Get ready to stay bundled up ALL day! We will start the day with some light rain and drizzle along with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. This afternoon, the the light rain/drizzle will taper off and we will be left with cloudy skies. It will stay cold and breezy with high temperatures only in the mid 40s. The wind chill will be in the 30s all day. Bundle up! Tonight will become mostly clear and very cold. Lows will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s north with a light freeze! South of the lake will be in the mid 30s with some frost. Make sure you protect plants, pets and people on both sides of the lake! A Freeze Warning is in place for most of SE Louisiana except Metro New Orleans and the immediate Coast.

An area of high pressure will build over us on Thursday and we will FINALLY see plenty of sunshine. It will be a cool day with high temperatures in the lower 50s. Thursday Night/Friday Morning will be very cold again with a light freeze north with lows around 30, and frost south with lows in the mid 30s.

A warming trend will begin on Friday with highs in the lower 60s under clear skies. Friday Night will still be chilly with frost north and lows in the mid 30s. South of the lake we will be in the mid 40s.

Weekend Outlook: The area of high pressure will build east of Louisiana this weekend. Expect plenty of sunshine on Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 60s. It will be milder on Sunday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 70s - what it is supposed to be this time of year!
